Uninstall CrescentPDF

How to do it

Uninstalling removes the app, its shortcuts and its link to .pdf files. Your PDFs are never touched, and you choose whether your settings go too.

Open Windows Settings, then Apps. On Windows 11 it's Installed apps, and on Windows 10 Apps & features.
Find CrescentPDF and choose Uninstall.
To delete your settings too (keyboard shortcuts, toolbar setups, stamps and recent files), tick Also remove my CrescentPDF settings. Leave it unticked to keep them for a later reinstall.
That's it. If CrescentPDF opened your PDFs, Windows picks another app for them.

Just want a fresh start? You don't need to uninstall: in Settings (Ctrl+,), choose Remove my settings…. It lists what it will delete, asks first, and restarts CrescentPDF as new.
Installed the MSI at work? Uninstalling it keeps your settings. IT can remove them too by adding REMOVESETTINGS=1, for example msiexec /x CrescentPDF-1.0.0.msi REMOVESETTINGS=1.
The .exe and the MSI keep separate settings, so removing one never touches the other.
Coming back later? Install it again from the Download page. If you kept your settings, they'll be waiting.
