CrescentPDF

Accessibility

CrescentPDF should work for everyone.

This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard most widely used for accessible websites.

What this website does

Works with a keyboard

Every link, button and question can be reached with Tab and used with Enter or Space. A "Skip to main content" link appears first, and the item you're on is always clearly outlined.

Works with screen readers

Pages use real headings, labelled buttons and form fields, and announce changes like the donation amount you pick. Decorative drawings are hidden from screen readers or described in one line.

Easy to read

Text keeps strong contrast against the background, color is never the only way information is shown, and pages still work when zoomed to 400% or viewed on a phone.

Motion you control

The twinkling stars, comets and blinking cursor can be stopped with "Pause animations" at the bottom of every page. They stop on their own if your device is set to reduce motion.

Something not working for you?

Tell me what page you were on and what happened, and I'll fix it. You don't need to know the technical cause.

Report an accessibility problem · or email [email protected] · I aim to reply within a few business days.
