The CrescentPDF app

• It never goes online. The app makes no internet connections at all: no sign-in, no cloud, no update checks, no ads.
• It collects nothing. No usage statistics, crash reports or tracking of any kind are sent anywhere.
• Your files stay on your computer. Documents, notes, settings and recent files are stored only on your PC.
• Problem reports are in your hands. Report a Problem creates text you can read first. Nothing is sent unless you paste it into the contact form yourself.

This website

The website is separate from the app. When you visit it, a few things are collected so it can work and improve:

• Visitor statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts things like which pages are visited, which site you came from, your rough country and your type of device. It doesn\'t use cookies.
• Server logs. Cloudflare, which runs the site, briefly keeps standard logs such as IP addresses to keep it secure and working.
• The contact form. The form opens your own email app with your message filled in, so you send it to Mike yourself. It's used only to answer you and fix problems, and your email is optional.
• Donations. Payments will be handled by a payment provider, named here once donations open, under its own privacy policy. CrescentPDF never sees your card details. Mike sees what the platform shares, such as your name, email and amount, and lists supporters only with permission.

Your information is never sold, and it's never used for advertising.

Your choices

• You can use the contact form without giving an email address.
• You can ask for anything you've sent to be deleted, or ask what's held about you, through the contact page.
• This site isn't aimed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect their information.
