Install CrescentPDF

How to do it

CrescentPDF installs just for you, without needing administrator rights.

Download the installer from the Download page. Most people want the .exe.
Open the file you downloaded.
If Windows says "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway. CrescentPDF is new and not code-signed yet, so Windows doesn't recognize it.
Follow the installer. Leave Open PDF files with CrescentPDF ticked to make it your PDF app.

Good to know

Want to be sure the file is genuine? In PowerShell, run Get-FileHash followed by the file name, and compare the result with the SHA-256 on the Download page.
Installing a newer version over an older one keeps your settings, recent files and marks.
