Export form answers to Excel or CSV

How to do it

Got a pile of filled-in forms back? Put every answer into one spreadsheet, one row per form.

Choose Tools > Export answers from several PDFs (or press Ctrl+K and type "export answers").
Choose Add files… or Add a folder…. The list shows how many PDFs there are and how many different forms.
Pick Excel workbook (.xlsx) or CSV (.csv), and a layout: One row per PDF, a column for each field, or One row per field.
Check the preview, name the file and press Export.

Just the form you have open? In Form Builder, choose More > Export fields and answers. It can include each field's type, page and format too.
Different forms go on their own sheets in Excel, or into their own CSV files.
PDFs with no form fields are skipped and listed at the end. The PDFs themselves aren't changed.
An answer that starts with = stays plain text in the spreadsheet, so nothing in a form can run as a formula.
