Draw and write on a PDF

How to do it

Sketch, circle things or write by hand, with a mouse, a pen or a stylus.

Choose Pen in the ANNOTATE button on the toolbar, or Tools > Draw > Pen (or press Ctrl+K and type "pen").
Draw on the page. With a stylus, pressing harder draws a thicker line.
Change the color and thickness in the options strip under the toolbar.
Right-click or press Esc to stop. The Eraser removes strokes. Save to keep them.

Good to know

While your pen is touching or near the screen, a palm resting on the page is ignored.
On a touch screen, two fingers pinch to zoom and one finger scrolls. To draw with a finger instead, turn on Draw with touch in the Pen's options.
Pen pressure is saved too, so the line looks the same in other PDF readers.
Your drawing is saved as a standard ink mark, so other PDF readers show it too.
Move or delete a stroke like any other mark.
